Why did you choose the name "Sweet Ivy"?

Ivy represents fidelity, devotion, and loyalty.  I saw that to be very fitting for a business in the wedding industry.  Sweet is an adjective I would use to describe weddings, marriage, and love.

What sort of things can you help me with?

I don't want to limit you with a list!  However, here are some examples of ways I can help and support you in your wedding planning:​

  • create day-of itineraries

  • create timeline of tasks

  • draft correspondence for you

  • assist with seating arrangements

  • listen to your ideas & give feedback

  • offer suggestions, ideas, & advice

  • brainstorm solutions to a problem

 

One of the benefits of hiring a consultant, is when you ask my opinion or advice, I am unbiased.  I don't have an emotional tie and can see your situation with fresh eyes, and I won't be hurt if you don't use my ideas!

What are "wedding VA tasks"?

A VA is a virtual assistant, so these are tasks that any client can upgrade to, above and beyond a consulting call.  For instance, if you want me to create a day-of itinerary for you, our consulting call would go over the details of what I need to include, and after our call, I will create that itinerary for you.  Or, if you want to maximize your registry, I can review your registries outside of our calls to ensure you have everything you need, and I can make suggestions, if applicable or desired.  This helps you utilize the time on our calls to the max, and saves you the headache of some organizing and planning!  We can discuss more on our consulting calls, and I will provide a quote on the spot.

Do you provide refunds if I can't make a call I already booked?

Due to the nature of the service you purchased, I cannot provide refunds.  Don't worry, though - you have a couple options!  You may reschedule a call up to 24 hours in advance - please feel free to do this!  You may also gift to a friend.  If you choose to gift this, please reach out to me at sierra@sweetivyconsulting.com with details.  If a call is not rescheduled before 24 hours and you're not able to make the call, please note that no refunds can be given.
